I'm a Berlin-based photographer and editor. I've studied social sciences, economics and politics in Oldenburg, Växjö and Bremen Currently I study photography at the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie in Berlin.
In my work I focus on things that matter. I care a lot about people and their lives. That's why documentary photography with a critical touch comes natural to me. Besides this, I also care very much about the technical possibilities of photography and photographic design as a craft. So product and fashion photography also grabbed my attention quite early.
I refused the notion that film photography is dead. To me digital and film photography are two sides of the same story, two techniques catering to different needs in an artist search for expression. If you're looking for that special quality only film photography can give you - count me in.
